J. Austyn williamson

Born in Chicago, and raised in the American South, Austyn (he/him) is an actor, director, and writer dedicated to thought-provoking and political storytelling. Since his early days at college studying politics and sociology to his travels around the globe, he has always had an immense curiosity about humanity and its beautiful complexity. How can people from seemingly different worlds be so similar? How can the flaws in the individual teach us something about the collective? From Shakespearean comedies and Greek tragedies to devised theater and mime, Austyn strives to tell those stories.

Austyn graduated with an MFA in Acting from the Brown/Trinity Rep. MFA program and a B.A. in Sociology and Drama from Tufts University. He currently lives in New York City and is  managed by SirenSong Entertainment.
